The rare Aleutian Geese known as Semidi birds winter off the Oregon Coast near Pacific City. Only 126 birds make up the Semidi birds a sub-species of Aleutian Geese. Unique among the various geese populations Semidi birds spend most of their time on the water, but every morning just before dawn they take flight to feed on pasture land owned by a local dairy farmer. See how biologists and farmers are working to protect this rare bird.
