Found Objects Artist Diane Archer

Sept. 28, 2007 3 a.m.

Oregon Coast artist Diane Archer uses a wide variety of materials to create mixed media pieces and jewelry. Focusing on sense of place, she uses found objects, maps and dyes that she makes from local plants. Working in sterling silver and bronze, she incorporates photo etched topographical maps into her jewelry. She also creates pieces on commission, making uniquely personal art by combining maps, mementos and sacred objects from her clients.
