- Portland will open a grant process for community groups to jumpstart initiatives combating hate crimes. A total of $350,000 in grants will go out to successful applicants over the 2017-18 fiscal cycle. Commissioner Chloe Eudaly will oversee the grant process; she joins us to talk about efforts to fight hate in Portland's neighborhoods.
