Looking Past the Power Lines

A story written by Portland-based journalist (and OPB contributor) Courtney Sherwood went viral last week.

Sherwood was the reporter who brought the news that sex toys were hanging from power lines around town.

While the story of how the sex toys ended up on the power lines is funny, the story itself is a good illustration of what it takes for a story to go viral. Sherwood spoke with OPB’s Weekend Edition host John Sepulvado.
