This year, the parade was led by Oregon Gov. Kate Brown, who has been officially recognized as being the first LGBT Governor in the country after assuming the role of governor after the resignation of former Governor John Kitzhaber. Brown led the parade alongside Jason Dottley, the parade's celebrity grand marshal who advocates for LBGT rights through his work as a recording artist and television producer.

The festivities also included performances by various LGBT artists including Big Dipper, Doug LockeJesika Von Rabbit, the Portland Lesbian Chorus and the Portland Gay Men's Chorus.
