6.3 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Off Oregon Coast

Aug. 29, 2019 4 p.m.

A magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck west of Coos Bay just after 8 a.m. Thursday.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake was about 184 miles off the Oregon Coast.
