Postcards From The Pandemic: COVID Nurse At OHSU’s Intensive Care Unit

OPB reporters and photographers are capturing “Postcards from the Pandemic” to document the lived experience of people in the Northwest during this historic and unusual time.

Emily Williams is a nurse in the intensive care unit at OHSU Hospital. For the past three months, she’s been working directly with COVID-19 patients on a daily basis.

She recorded an audio diary to share what life is like for her right now.
