
Dan Evans
Dan Evans is a documentary filmmaker and staff contributor to "Oregon Experience," "Oregon Art Beat," "and Oregon Field Guide." His work with OPB has been recognized with NW Regional Emmy Awards, and national Society of Professional Journalists, AAAS Kavli Science Journalism, and Public Media awards.
Prior to joining OPB, Dan was an editor at National Geographic, and produced, wrote, and edited films for Independent Lens and national public television. He has produced and filmed stories around the world, from Africa to Asia to South America.
Dan earned a master’s degree in international relations from the George Washington University, and degrees in history and cinema studies from the University of Washington.
