Casey Negreiff
Casey Negreiff is a producer for Oregon Public Broadcasting's Morning Edition.
Casey got his start in public radio at KPBX, Spokane, Washington's community station where he served as midday host. Later, he could be heard throughout Washington state on the stations of Northwest Public Radio as "Weekend Edition" host. Casey first came to OPB in 2006 to serve as fill-in radio host and soon after took on the role of "Morning Edition" producer and newscaster.
Casey shares a Peabody Award for OPB's "Hard Times" series and has been honored by the Associated Press with a Best Newscast certificate.
He has a degree in English from the University of Washington. He enjoys cooking and riding his bicycle all over the place, even in Portland’s eight months of rain and gloom.
