If you’re a “Twin Peaks” fan, you’re familiar with the work of David Lynch. And if you’ve seen the new episodes of the series, you’re also familiar with Chrysta Bell, who plays FBI agent Tammy Preston. But before "Twin Peaks," Lynch and Bell collaborated on another project, a song called “Bird of Flames” and a music video, directed by Chel White of Portland.

“It’s about the enigmatic nature of love,” says White, who is a co-founding partner of the film studio Bent Image Lab.

The video takes place in a small nightclub, where a magician coaxes a beautiful chanteuse to perform like a living doll. In the audience, a young man falls in love with her archetypal image of feminine beauty.
