The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality’s network systems remained shut down Thursday as investigators continue to deal with a cyberattack.
The agency said the shutdown will likely go through the end of the week, and vehicle inspection stations will be closed Thursday and Friday.
According to DEQ, the state’s information technology department, Enterprise Information Services, began shutting down networks Wednesday as a way to isolate and potentially eradicate the cyberattack.
