Wildlife officials are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest or conviction in the illegal killing of a gray wolf in Central Oregon.
On March 10, staff from multiple wildlife agencies responded to a report of a dead gray wolf found near Sisters, Oregon.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service confirmed it was an adult breeding male from the Metolius pack, which is federally listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act.
The wildlife service is leading the investigation in cooperation with the Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Division and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.
