Election Day is today, Nov. 5.
Starting Tuesday and continuing in the days that follow, OPB will be covering national, state and local races across multiple platforms. Here are the key things to know about OPB’s Election Day plans and what to expect.
On the web
Visit OPB.org all day for the latest election news. Our Ballot Guide will be available until late afternoon for last-minute voters.
Around 5 p.m., OPB’s Ballot Guide becomes our results page. You’ll start to see returns from eastern states as their polls close.
Just after local polls close at 8 p.m., we’ll have the latest ballot counts on our results page. We’ll highlight key races as they are called, and keep you informed about progress in counting ballots. Remember, some races will not be decided on election night as the process of counting ballots is complex and carefully managed.
OPB Radio
Beginning at 4 p.m., listen to live election coverage from NPR. It will continue until at least midnight. Local results from Oregon and Washington will be reported after 8 p.m.
