A flood watch is in effect for much of Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington through Wednesday afternoon.
The National Weather Service said an atmospheric river will bring periods of heavy rain Monday night and Tuesday night, with up to 7 inches falling in the Coast Range and the Cascades.
The next atmospheric river is slowly approaching. Expect another round of rain on Monday night - Tuesday night. With warmer temps, melting snow, & heavy rain, river flooding is likely in some areas. Be sure to prepare for any flooding & remember...turn around don't drown. pic.twitter.com/jpgO0l2HSr

Lower elevations will also see several inches of rain, the weather service reported.
Rivers, creeks and streams could rise above flood stage. People living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action.
Officials are also reminding people not to drive through flooded roadways.
