Blazers fans reflect on Damian Lillard’s trade to the Milwaukee Bucks

Damian Lillard spent 11 years with the Portland Trail Blazers as a star player and became the team’s leading all-time scorer. As he prepares to leave his longtime team behind, fans shared their favorite memories of Dame, both on and off the court.

“Damian has meant the world to us, my family,” one caller told OPB’s “Think Out Loud.”

“He’ll always be my absolute favorite Trail Blazer,” said another.

And on Instagram, a fan called Lillard “The most poised superstar,” continuing: “[H]e got there through hard work and grinding each year. The guy you want to take the shot when the game is on the line and you need a basket. Dame time”
