Starting Wednesday afternoon, U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy ships are docking on the Portland waterfront as part of the city’s longstanding Rose Festival Fleet Week tradition.
While they’re here, people can greet the visiting service members and tour some of the ships.

The ships’ arrivals and departures will cause some traffic delays. The Broadway, Steel and Burnside bridges will be raised as they arrive.
Canadian ships are expected to all arrive and dock south of the Burnside Bridge and to have arrived by 3 p.m. Wednesday. U.S. Coast Guard and Navy ships will be arriving between 3-5 p.m. Thursday. The ships are all expected to depart by noon Monday
