Rescuers on Friday afternoon found the body of missing snowboarder Ryan Mather at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort.

Mather was found buried in avalanche debris in Clark Creek near Heather Canyon, where the ski routes are most difficult. Due to bad weather, rescuers had to wait until the next morning to extricate his body with a rope team.
