The Portland Trail Blazers lost game two of their playoffs against the Nuggets in Denver on Monday night, 128-109. The loss came despite Damian Lillard scoring 42 points and grabbing 4 rebounds. Lillard was the highest scoring player of the game.
The series is now tied, following a win against the Nuggets 123-109 this past Saturday.
The Nuggets had a better field goal scoring average Monday, and held their lead going into the second half. The Blazers play the Nuggets again at 7:30 p.m., Thursday at the Moda Center.
Thursday’s game is highly anticipated for fans. It will be the second home game for the Blazers with fans in attendance, and Gov. Kate Brown announced there would be a “vaccinated section” at the Moda Center for people 16 and over who have proof of vaccination.
