The Albany company Agility Robotics now has a bipedal robot called Digit available for companies to purchase. These machines can walk, carry objects and may be used in warehouse work and even package delivery. We hear more about Digit from the company’s chief technology officer, Jonathan Hurst, and about the broader economic, social and ethical implications in the advancing field of robotics from Kagan Tumer, director of the Oregon State University robotics program.
