This summer, when Oregonians flock to the Willamette to enjoy river sports, there will be a new set of rules to follow. The Oregon State Marine Board recently banned wake surfing on a large section of the Lower Willamette from downtown Portland to Oregon City. The board also limited the use of water skis, wakeboards, and jet skis. Josh Mulhollem, environmental and policy program manager for the Oregon State Marine Board, tells us about the new rules.
