The Oregon Department of Transportation must decide how to allocate $2.2 billion in funding for its 2024-2027 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program. The program originally had five funding scenarios, but ODOT has since proposed five new hybrid funding options not previously discussed with the public. That delayed the vote that was supposed to happen on Dec. 1. The new options were based on public comment, according to ODOT, but some community members believe the changes were too last minute.
