THANKS TO OUR SPONSOR:

Hernandez trained at the prestigious National School of Fine Arts in Lima before moving to Portland in 2009.

He creates both figurative and abstract paintings using warm, bright colors that reflect the heart of his characters. His style embraces and connects his life in Portland with his history as an artist in Peru.

Hernandez’s work has been exhibited at galleries in Portland and Seattle and across Central and South America, including the Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano and Centro Cultural de Espana.
