Police shot Immanueal Clark in the back Nov. 19, 2022, while he fled. The deadly shooting caused a rare rift between investigators and Portland police leadership.

A Lincoln County deputy shot and killed someone in the coastal community of Waldport Sunday night. There have been at least two other deadly law enforcement shootings since early September in Lincoln County.
