Race In The Northwest | Jordan Refugee Camp | Oregon's Non-unanimous Juries

• OPB news director Anna Griffin joins us to talk about the some of the people she's profiled for a series that explores how race plays out in the individual lives of Oregonians.

• Former Oregon state Sen. Jason Atkinson recently returned from one of the world's largest refugee camps. It's in Jordan and is home to nearly 80,000 people, many of them from Syria.

• We hear about an Oregon law that allows juries to reach a verdict in certain cases, even if the decision is not unanimous. We discuss this with former juror Cash Singleton, Mat Dos Santos with the ACLU and Tim Colahan, the executive director of the Oregon District Attorneys Association.
