Where to go:

  • The Rogue or the Lower Klamath rivers are ideal for a scenic, family-friendly adventure.

  • The Upper Klamath River is best for a wild day trip with class IV and IV+ rapids.

  • The Scott and Salmon rivers, both in northernmost California, are for experienced paddlers looking for class V whitewater, waterfalls, and stunning scenery. (These are generally spring trips).

  • The Owyhee River, for solitude, a dramatic canyon, and a week long adventure.
