Former Oregon first lady Cylvia Hayes is getting rave reviews for her first book, "Surprising Reasons to Believe Trump Will Be a Great President."
The book is 150 pages long — but every page is blank. It's available on Amazon in paperback for $10 or for download as an e-book for $3.
Hayes, who wrote the book under the pen name Dr. Ann Alystiam, said she intended the book to "add a little levity to these turbulent times in America."
The book's back cover describes it as "daring, politically incorrect and keenly insightful."
"Alystiam cuts through the media hype and mob rhetoric to distill Trump's genuine promises to the American people ... in concise and compelling terms," reads the jacket.
The tongue-in-cheek book acknowledges Hayes as the author in fine print on the back cover, which contains a copyright in Hayes' name and a URL to her website.
Hayes is the fiancee of former Democratic Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber. Since leaving public office amidst an ethics investigation, she's partially spent her time writing about climate change and other liberal issues.
Hayes' book joins the ranks of other blank political satire books, from "Good Arguments Against Gay Marriage" to "The Benefits of Socialism."
Amazon user "Bearsnob" gave Hayes's book a five-star review.
"While everyone seems to have strong opinions on this topic, Hayes remains neutral," Bearsnob wrote. "It's hard to disagree with anything she says because she literally says nothing."
