Saturday's strong winds kept some Portland General Electric customers in the dark Sunday clean up continued around the city.
PGE spokeswoman Brianne Hyder said all available crews and some contracted crews are attempting to restore power.
"It's extremely time consuming," she said.
At the height of outages, Hyder said some 27,000 customers in the tri-county area were without power after wind gusts topped 40 mph Saturday. Pacific Power also reported outages Saturday as well, but power was restored by the afternoon.
As crews work their way through the city, Hyder said people should continue to watch out for fallen power lines.
"The main thing we want customers to know is to stay away from any downed lines and report them to PGE immediately," she said.
