Eugene has implemented rules that limit where people can park their vehicles. The changes include requiring people to move their vehicles at least two blocks every three days. Some say the rules help mitigate concerns like accumulated trash from those that may be living out of their cars. Others say the rules don’t address core issues and are just forcing people experiencing homelessness to stay out of sight. Megan Banta, a reporter for The Register-Guard, is covering this issue for the newspaper. She joins us with more details.
