The Portland family at the center of a months-long protest and occupation intended to block an eviction has reached a tentative deal with the city. In exchange for the barricades on North Mississippi Avenue coming down, the developer and city of Portland have promised not to enforce an eviction order while the family and developer are negotiating a resolution in good faith.
