Oregon recently became the first state in the nation to approve the therapeutic use of psilocybin. The measure that legalized the therapy directs the Oregon Health Authority to create a state-licensed, psilocybin-assisted therapy program over the next two years. We hear from two people who have used psilocybin therapy: Chad Kuske, a retired Navy SEAL who was struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, and Mara McGraw, a retired social worker who was diagnosed with cancer three years ago.
