Necessary conversations about racism cannot always happen in person during the coronavirus pandemic. So diversity, equity and inclusion consultant Alexis Braly James has been holding a series of free Zoom talks through the Multnomah County Library. After registration filled up for her first series of workshops, James planned a second series to start in September. We hear how James has been connecting with participants in her two online workshop series, “Building Bridges” and “Let’s Talk About Race”.
