In Brain Chemistry For Lovers, jazz vocalist Valerie Day is joined by an orchestra and a neuroscientist to explore the chemistry of love. Inspired by an article in National Geographic, Day puts together a show that matches a classic love song to each of the different chemical phases of falling in love, from lust to break-up. In between songs, a white-coated scientist on a video screen explains the effects of brain chemicals like serotonin.
