Thousands of people lined up outside of the Moda Center in Portland Friday morning for a rally in support of presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
Snaking around the basketball arena hours before the doors were even opened, supporters carried signs, while Sander's campaign staff asked for volunteers and others handed around petitions.

Tia McCann, who was waiting to get into the rally, usually does facials at Dragon Tree Spa but took the day off work.
"I feel like he’s the only, the clear choice. Hillary would be my second choice of course if he doesn’t get the nomination. But I’m tired of big corporations and money deciding all of our political everything. It’s time for a change," McCann said.
The rally is free and open to the public. Admission is first come, first served, although the Moda center accommodates 20,000 people. People are being told to use mass transit to get to the event and to not bring bags, for security reasons.
